Recreational Gymnastics

Parent & Tot (Age 2-3)
Tumble tots promotes the use of gross and fine motor skills along with listening skills and communication in those ages two and three. Students in tumble tots are to be accompanied by an adult who will participate in the class with their child.

Preschool (Age 3-5)
This class focuses on introductory gymnastics skills on the vault, bars, beam, and floor. This class will continue to work on motor skills along with listening skills and communication, helping students get ready to attend school. For three year olds there will be six students to one instructor and for four and five year olds there will be eight students to one instructor.

Girls recreational
(Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced/ Age 6+)

Recreational classes focus on beginner, intermediate, and advanced skills on vault, bars, beam, and floor. Skills are taught in a safe and progressive manner so the student feels comfortable with learning. As each student progresses they will be able to move through different levels at the instructors’ suggestion. There will be eight to twelve students per instructor. Students will be separated into classes based on level and age.


Boys recreational
(Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced/ Age 6+)

Recreational classes focus on beginner, intermediate, and advanced skills on vault, parallel bars, high bar, floor, pommel horse, and rings. Skills are taught in a safe and progressive manner so the student feels comfortable learning. As each student progresses they will be able to move through different levels at the instructors’ suggestion. There will be eight to twelve students per instructor. Students will be separated into classes based on level and age.

Tumbling (Age 7+)
Tumbling class is for those who are interested in learning only tumbling skills and not the other gymnastics events. Tumbling class is also good for those who want to spend a little more time working on tumbling. The emphasis will be on taking the student through basic to advanced tumbling. These skills could include handstands, cartwheels, round-offs, back handsprings, back tucks, etc. There will be eight to twelve students per instructor. Students will be separated into classes based on level and age.

Cheer Tumbling (Age 7+)
Cheer tumbling is designed for students to learn basic cheer jumps and tumbling skills. The emphasis of this class is on cheer tumbling like round-offs, back handsprings, and back tucks. The jumps will include jumps like toe touches and hurdlers. This class is not for beginners, students must be able to do basic skills like handstands, forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, and back walkovers etc. Students will be separated into classes based on skill level.
