Current Thorbeckes Employees Taking on New Roles, New Total Athlete Performance Director to Be Named
CENTRALIA-CHEHALIS-ROCHESTER — Thorbeckes is pleased to announce that Efrain Sanchez, Total Athlete Performance (TAP) and personal training director, has been named as the company-wide General Manager of Thorbeckes Fitness Centers.
Sanchez holds both Bachelors and Masters degrees in Exercise Science from Eastern Washington University. Since graduation in 2013, Sanchez has been employed with Thorbeckes as a trainer and TAP director. Additionally, Sanchez has instructed classes at both Centralia Community College and Lower Columbia Community College in subjects such as health, fitness, weight-training and nutrition.
“Efrain — or ‘Ef’ as many of us know him — has the education, hands-on experience, knowledge and passion that I know will help lead this company into the next chapter of success for our employees, our members and the communities where we reside,” stated Thorbeckes owner Matt Noren, in an email to staff.
Sanchez, his wife Britney, and daughter reside in Toledo. Sanchez is also a graduate of Toutle Lake High School.
Additionally, Kari Smith and Tracy Lambert have been promoted to Assistant General Managers, with oversight of our facilities in Chehalis and Centralia, respectively.
