PlayCenters
Childcare is available in Centralia & Chehalis. Parent or
guardian must stay in facility at all times.
Care is limited to a daily maximum of:
6 weeks to 18 months: 1.5 hours
18 months to 10 years old (11 in
Chehalis): 2 hours

LATE PICK-UP POLICY
-
Parents/guardians that exceed their time limit will be
charged $5 for every minute subsequent to the ten minute
grace period. This also includes picking up your children
late at closing. Every reasonable attempt will be made to
contact the parent before the grace period expires.
Playcenter hours of operation are subject
to change at any time and without warning. Every effort
is made to ensure that hours listed here are accurate
and up to date. It is best to call Thorbecke's before
bringing in children requiring child care to receive
accurate Playcenter hours of operation.
Parents' Night Out
6:30pm* - 10pm

(age 6 weeks to 11 years old)
*NOTE: Children may not be dropped off prior to 6:30
or later than 7 pm.
Starting October 3, 2009 there
will be a policy change for Parents' Night Out. Infants
from the ages of 6 weeks - 18 months will be allowed to
attend from 6:30pm - 8:30pm only.

One Saturday each month, enjoy a night
out. Free Child care is provided to Thorbeckes Member
with a FAMILY membership for
children ages 6 weeks to 11 years. This is also open to children of Thorbeckes
members with couple & single memberships for a small fee.
Parents have the opportunity to have a romantic night out
while kids have a great time at Thorbeckes.
This
service is open to Thorbeckes Members only.

This event is only open to 6th graders. Must have a
permission slip filled out and signed by a parent or
guardian to attend. This sheet is available at all
Thorbeckes reception desks and is also available to be
filled out on the night of the event.

prior to event.
Youth Training Group
A
coach/trainer led program designed to teach and guide
youth ages 11-14. Students will engage in an
introduction to safe training principles particular to
this age group. This is a three hour orientation. After
completing orientation, youth will be able to train on
their own unsupervised. This class is required for youth
ages 11-14 to use the facility unsupervised.
All
Saturday classes are from 9am-10:30am.
All Thursday classes are from 3:30pm-5:00pm.
Must be registered by the Wednesday prior to training
date.

Facility Usage Policy for youth 18 and under:
6 weeks
to 5 years: Adult supervision is required. Children
this age may use the PlayCenter, swimming pool, family
activities and youth programs. Please see the top of
this page for PlayCenter information.
6 years
to 10 years: Adult supervision is required. May use
PlayCenter, swimming pool, game room,
basketball/racquetball/Wallyball courts, Tae Kwon Do,
family activities and youth programs.
11 to 14
years: Unsupervised use permitted only after
completion of Youth Training Group. All 11-14 year old
youth must check in with reception and wear a wrist band
indicating their completion of youth training group. May
use swimming pool, game room, basketball/racquetball/wallyball
courts, Tae Kwon Do, family activities, youth programs,
Group Fitness classes, cardio equipment and weight
equipment (except the Free Weight area).
15 to 18
years: No supervision required. May use all
facilities and programs with parental signature on youth
waiver. See reception desk for this waiver. |
